MARY WANLESS, author and clinician

The foundation for many instructors' teaching style: Mary is famous for her books, series of tapes on correct riding, and her sessions for instructors and students. For anyone who has wondered what your dressage instructor means for you to do with your body, Mary discusses in precise detail the how, what, and when of teaching dressage. She has been a leader in seeing correct biomechanics in horse and rider and was the first to adapt the new concepts of teaching sport to dressage. Time will be dedicated to Teaching Sciences, Effective Coaching, Improving Communication and Rapport with Pupils and reviewing the biomechanical basics of Mary's work, in addition to new concepts under development and the unique challenges our demonstration riders bring will be addressed.
