Riders

Program Information

Each rider is assigned a slot once a week for a particular session.This schedule will accommodate about 60 riders per session. A few weeks before the next session begins, new riders are given the first opportunity to sign up for their first choice of a riding time. Returning riders are then placed on a “first come, first served” basis. Check the Riding Schedule for date to call and leave your 1st, 2nd, and 3rd choice time slots. This allows us to serve all those who want to participate. Since we presently have about 100+ riders on our roster, please register as soon as possible to ensure a space in the session you desire. If the session is already full, we will accommodate you first in the next available session. If the rider is unable to attend his/her class on their riding day, please call and cancel twenty-four (24) hours in advance or as soon as possible. If he/she misses two consecutive classes without contacting us, another rider on our waiting list will fill his/her slot. Each time your child rides, a team of three volunteers is here to work with him/her. These are unpaid volunteers who have given up their free time to assist your rider with their therapeutic riding session. We certainly understand that emergencies happen such as illness or urgent family situations. However, due to our waiting list of riders and out of consideration for our volunteers, we must insist that you call if your child will not be able to come to their scheduled riding session.

Wings of Eagles Ranch is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Maintaining our facility, horses, and equipment is very costly and is only possible through donations from others. Adopt-A-Horse

Wings of Eagles Ranch is solely supported through the gracious donations of others. Our "Adopt-A-Horse" program is one way for individuals to help financially support our organization by sponsoring one of our horses. For a monthly pledge of either $10, $ 15, $20, $25, $30, $35, $40, $45, $50, etc, or a one time annual pledge of any amount you feel led to donate, you will get a specially designed descriptive horse package about the horse you choose to sponsor.
